Sometimes you cant just walk up to a Disney World attraction and get in the queue. If a Disney ride has gone down and the queue has needed to be evacuated , you wont be able to stand in line to wait though you can stand around the ride if youd like, but we dont recommend that if the Cast Members are hinting that the ride could be down for awhile.
