While the current release has done almost one billion at the global box office, many people are getting tired of the live action remakes. In the last couple years people have turned away from the live action remakes and Disney seemingly was backing off doing more. Reportedly shelving some of the previously announced ones. Not sure how this will go, but we are right back at remake and sequel...
