Elio has entered theaters, and its done about as well as expected. A long time ago, Pixar officials dialed back their expectations for the movie, which experienced a troubled production. Pixar made the rare decision to change directors midway through the creative process, which is why Im surprised to say how much I enjoyed Elio .
